“OPEN SOURCE COMMUNITIES” BY BELLTOWER WINS GRAND PRIX IN LEXUS DESIGN AWARD 2020
Lexus International has announced that BellTower from Kenya is the Grand Prix winner of the Lexus Design Award 2020. BellTower’s entry, entitled “Open Source Communities,” was selected for the coveted award from among 2,042 total submissions from 79 countries.

LEXUS DESIGN AWARD FINALISTS
Just twelve finalists will be chosen from thousands of entries. Eight will display their entries at the Milan Design Week, while four get the unique opportunity to be mentored by globally recognised designers. The mentors will help bring the finalists' ideas to life, by developing each concept to prototype.
THE MENTORS
Lexus have handpicked a world-class panel of design experts to mentor and collaborate with four Lexus Design Award finalists; over many months, the Lexus mentors will offer their invaluable insight, commercial advice and guidance to the finalists as they develop their designs to prototype.
