The UX 250h is powered by a Lexus Self-Charging Hybrid producing 184 DIN hp that features a highly efficient 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. Available with Front-Wheel Drive or E-FOUR All-Wheel Drive, the system has a compact transaxle and Power Control Unit, designed to minimise losses through heat and friction. A nickel-metal hydride battery is used with a revised construction and cooling system.
