THE LATEST EVOLUTION OF THE FIRST ALL-ELECTRIC LEXUS SUV

The all-electric Lexus RZ has undergone a series of innovative revisions — from an increased driving range and faster charging times to the introduction of Lexus’ first next-generation steer-by-wire system. An athletic, all-new F SPORT model also joins the line-up.

The new Lexus RZ will arrive in Europe late 2025.

EXTENDED DRIVING RANGE

A new 77 kWh battery increases driving range across all models. Up to 568 km is now possible from a single charge (WLTP figures for RZ 350e).
FASTER CHARGING TIMES

Charging times have been reduced through the addition of a new 22kW onboard charger and improved battery pre-conditioning and cooling.
DELIVERING THE LEXUS DRIVING SIGNATURE

Structural rigidity has been increased throughout the RZ, reducing body movement and contributing to precise steering.
STEER-BY-WIRE

The world’s first steer-by-wire system with steering yoke delivers direct, responsive control while dynamically easing low-speed manoeuvres and enhancing legroom and visibility.
THE TRULY UNIQUE RZ 550E F SPORT

The RZ 550e F SPORT model joins the RZ lineup. The most powerful RZ to date, the F SPORT can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
ENHANCED CABIN QUIETNESS

The installation of new soundproofing and sound absorption improves the already exceptional near-silent RZ cabin-quietness.

As the first Lexus all-electric vehicle to be built from the ground up, our engineers and designers were empowered to push the form and function of the RZ to thrilling new levels. Yes.

While the RZ 300e utilises a 150 kW electric motor driving the front wheels, the RZ 450e all-wheel drive has DIRECT4 that features a high-output 150 kW front and 80 kW rear motor. Power for both models comes from a next-generation Lithium-ion battery.

RZ customers benefit from a battery warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first). After that, all Lexus BEV’s offer a 12-month extra warranty-up to a maximum of 10-years (or up to 1,000,000 km) on functional defects of the main battery. Cover applies after a BEV service and will be renewed until their next service is due.

With no internal combustion engine, BEVs require more power to warm up the cabin. To counter this, the RZ offers clever features to keep occupants comfortable. Pre-heating or cooling the cabin during charging ensures a comfortable temperature at start-off. On cold days, switching the climate control to ECO can add up to 25km of range by focusing on passenger comfort instead of heating up the whole cabin.

As well as the state-of-the art electric drivetrain, the RZ offers clever electrified features like the dimmable (optional) panoramic roof that keeps passengers cool when the sun shines reducing load on the air conditioning unit. For cooler mornings, radiant heaters for driver and front passenger use less electricity than conventional heating systems.

Captivated by the thrill of the drive, it’s easy to forget the practicality of this car. With a *WLTP range of around 420 km for the RZ 300e and around 400 km for the RZ 450e, you can fast-charge from 10% to 80% in little more than 30 minutes.

The Lexus RZ is a fully electric crossover with an exterior slightly larger than the Lexus NX and an interior about the size of the RX. The RZ sits on a 2,850 mm wheelbase and is 4,805 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,635 mm high.

Yes. The RZ is equipped with the latest Lexus Link Connect system, operated via a 14” touchscreen which includes the “Hey Lexus” on-board assistant.

The RZ is available as RZ 300e Front-Wheel-Drive or RZ 450e with DIRECT4 All-Wheel Drive. You can choose either a EXECUTIVE, EXECUTIVE PLUS, LUXURY, LUXURY PLUS or F SPORT grade.
