THE NEW UX

Lexus is proud to unveil upgrades on the self-charging hybrid UX 250h. Select from more style choices, improved multimedia and connectivity and a sporty new model grade, F SPORT Design.

THE NEW UX

DIRECT AND REASSURING PERFORMANCE

To enhance the Lexus Driving Signature, the fundamentals of the UX have been further refined for additional ride comfort and driving dynamics. Body rigidity has been improved by additional spot welds. The UX 250h’s SUV credentials are further enhanced with the optional Lexus’ electronic E-Four all-wheel drive transmission.

COLOUR CHOICES

New Sonic Platinum paintwork creates an extra brilliance and deeper shading across the car’s bodywork. The revised range also provides a wider choice of bi-tone finishes, with six colours available in combination with a contrasting black roof on the F SPORT and F SPORT Design model. In the cabin, a new Hazel colour option is available (except for the F SPORT) for all the upholstery options. The perforated leather upholstery has a fresh look with a new Kagome pleating effect, inspired by a traditional Japanese basket weave. The synthetic leather upholstery has a new Sashiko stitchwork pattern.
THE NEW UX

4TH GENERATION POWER

The UX 250h achieves excellent efficiency and refined performance with fourth generation Lexus self-charging hybrid technology, its 2.0-litre system developing 184 DIN hp/135kW. The UX 200 is powered by a near-identical version of the hybrid model’s four-cylinder, 2.0-litre petrol engine. This unit is notable for its exceptional 40% thermal efficiency, helping it secure strong fuel economy and low CO2 emissions.

THE NEW UX

ADVANCED VOICE AND SMARTPHONE CONTROL

The new voice recognition of the multimedia system includes the option of using the “Hey Lexus” on-board assistant. This makes for easier use of voice commands to make phone calls, operate the audio and climate control and search the net. Smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay (wireless connection) or Android Auto (wired connection) is provided as standard. True to Lexus’ famous Omotenashi, the Japanese art of hospitality, owners will be able to use the Lexus Link smartphone app to lock or unlock the doors or operate the air conditioning system remotely.

THE NEW UX

SUPERIOR USER INTERFACE

The revised UX benefits from Lexus’ new multimedia MM21 system, giving faster response, more intuitive, human-centred operation and increased functionality. A touchscreen increases the display size in the vehicle to 12.3" or 8". The centre console is now home to controls for the heated front seats and also features an illuminated tray in front of the air conditioning control panel, with space to hold a large smartphone.

Usability and operability have been improved by optimising the switch layout. Significantly increased computing power means command responses are quicker, while ‘always connected’ cloud-based navigation is provided as standard, giving access to real time road and traffic information for easier journey planning.

THE NEW UX

ADVANCED SAFETY SYSTEM

The implementation of Lexus Safety System +2.5 makes the new UX safer than ever. This class-leading system warns you of danger and takes action where necessary to avoid collisions. The Dynamic Radar Cruise Control adopts Curve Speed Reduction, which automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed to suit the radius of a bend in the road.
THE NEW UX

NEW F SPORT DESIGN GRADE

Road presence is enhanced with a spindle grille, featuring a Lexus L-motif mesh pattern, finished in black with a jet black surround for the lower section that accentuates the car’s planted stance. The same pattern is featured in the enlarged bezels housing the fog lights and cornering lights in the front bumper. Other design details include synthetic leather seat upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, reversing camera, automatic wipers, chrome roof rails and black wheel arch mouldings.
THE NEW UX

UX F SPORT

The revised UX F SPORT has Adaptive Variable Suspension and front and rear performance rods as standard. These contribute to the model’s sharper handling and chassis response and smoother ride quality on all road surfaces. The AVS’ control system has been adjusted for a seamless shift to high damping force when conditions require. Steering feel has been improved with a new rigid joint between the top of the steering gearbox mount and the suspension member. The shock absorber damping force has been adjusted for optimum performance.
