FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

All Lexus models that have been sold as new (1st registration) by Lexus Cyprus and with age up to 10 years and with mileage less than 185,000 km, are eligible for Lexus Relax. Used cars can also benefit from Lexus Relax, regardless of the number of previous owners. Used vehicles will receive Lexus Relax when a service is completed, provided they are free of any defects at the completion of the service. Lexus Relax also applies to every type of engine, from self-charging hybrid to conventional petrol and diesel or even new advanced battery electric vehicles.

The Lexus Relax warranty comprehensively covers nearly all mechanical, electric, and electronic defects, including labor and spare parts. However, it does not extend to certain items such as Hybrid or EV batteries (which are covered separately for up to 10 years via the Hybrid Health Check performed during service), wear and tear components, bodywork, paint, interior trims, and service parts.

To maintain the active status of your Lexus Relax warranty, it's necessary to service your car exclusively at our Lexus centre. Your 12-month warranty will be effective from the date of your completed service until your next scheduled service.

Yes, you are always welcome! Whenever your vehicle has a maintenance at an authorised Lexus dealer, you will benefit from a Lexus Relax until your next service is due. That is, 1-year or 15.000 km warranty (whichever comes first) for most Lexus vehicles*. Relax can only be granted if your vehicle is less than 10 years old or fewer than 185.000 km from the first registration of your vehicle.

Your vehicle will benefit from Lexus Relax, regardless of whether you have had your previous maintenance outside of the Lexus Authorised Network. As long as your vehicle meets the eligibility criteria and your most recent maintenance has been conducted within the Lexus Authorized Network, it qualifies.

Yes, you are always welcome! You will benefit from Lexus Relax until your vehicle reaches 10 years old or 185.000 km mileage from the vehicle’s first registration. Where Lexus Relax Warranty has expired or where a vehicle exceeded its recommended service, Lexus Relax Warranty will begin 30 days from the date the scheduled service has been completed.

You have the flexibility to choose any workshop for your next maintenance. However, to extend your Relax cover for an additional 12 months, you'll need to carry out maintenance at the Lexus Authorized Network. We look forward to servicing your vehicle again and ensuring it benefits from a new Lexus Relax. Our commitment to providing exceptional service remains available to you and your vehicle.

While still benefiting from Relax, you remain entirely free to have additional services provided by a non-Authorised Lexus Repairer. The use of a non-Authorised Lexus Repairer does not affect the Relax coverage validity, unless the defect for which the additional warranty is claimed was the result of work done by a non-Authorised Lexus Repairer. *The Lexus Relax program does not cover imported used vehicles that were initially registered in any country other than the Republic of Cyprus, as well as vehicles that do not meet European specifications or are not intended for export to the European market.
