In 2000, a close-knit team of engineers embarked on one of the greatest engineering challenges Lexus has ever undertaken. Together they devoted ten years to a project that required the harnessing of all-new technologies, materials and processes in order to create the Lexus LFA; a world-class supercar of incredible power, beauty and comfort. Granted a free hand by Lexus top management, this elite and autonomous team pushed the limits of lightweight carbon fibre manufacturing techniques and V10 engine design to achieve unique and breathtaking performance. Limited to an exclusive run of 500 cars, the LFA was developed at our Higashi-Fuji Technical Centre, and is the most technically advanced Lexus ever to carry the F-Marque logo.
