Job Summary:
The Lexus Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, quality, and adherence to safety and company standards. Key duties include managing staff, optimizing resource use, maintaining equipment, and ensuring timely project completion. The role also involves leadership, budget management, enforcing policies, and driving continuous improvement to enhance productivity and operational excellence. The Workshop Manager acts as a liaison between staff, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and high-quality service delivery, based on our Fix-It-Right-First-Time principle.
The successful candidate will have strong customer orientation, attention to detail and will be able to find cost – efficient solutions to any issues that may arise while complying with Toyota standards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, service advisors, and support the team to ensure high performance, motivation, and a positive work environment.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve workflow and efficiency thus reducing lead-time.
- Ensure that tools, machinery, and equipment are properly maintained and readily available to staff.
- Oversee the proper utilization of resources to minimize waste and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure the workshop adheres to all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure compliance and conformity with Lexus guidelines and standards and draft and share reports and action plans with the Lexus Brand Manager, the Service Manager to ensure transparency and proper progress follow up.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control standards for all work performed in the workshop, ensuring all projects meet company specifications and customer expectations.
- Study Technical Bulletins, Parts Bulletins, inform the Technicians and other staff of updates (where necessary) and update all records.
- Develop and maintain accurate work records, including job assignments, completion timelines, and team performance metrics.
- Ensure that all workshop activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws.
- Continuously evaluate workshop processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
