Omotenashi – the elevated manner in which Lexus serves its guests, customers and owners – is akin to the service one would expect from a world-class restaurant. This ancient Japanese philosophy underpins the Lexus mindset and is evident in the world’s most celebrated eateries. 
 
To share Omotenashi with the masses, we've built a high-end restaurant kitchen into an eye-catching six-metre, two-ton food truck. With the towing power of a Lexus RX, we’re taking our magnificent mobile kitchen on the road across Europe this summer – enlisting some of cuisine’s biggest names along the way for some unforgettable pop-up dining experiences.

Food truck first stop: Madrid

Our food truck's first destination was Madrid. Here, guest chef Roberto Martínez Foronda of acclaimed Madrid restaurant Tripea, wowed over 50 guests with his unique fusion flavours of Peru, Asia and Spain.  
 
“When Lexus proposed to me to cook in this food truck, I thought, how to bring the essence of Tripea to such a small space?” Said Roberto. “But when I saw it inside, I understood that this was much more. This is a real kitchen, designed to work with technique, rhythm and emotion.” 
 
The evening’s six-course menu included such delights as tuna tiradito in ceviche gazpacho and causa a la limeña with parmesan scallops.

Tastefully delivering on the Lexus promise

Food deliveries are nothing new in Madrid, but add a Lexus and a Michelin-star chef into the mix, and this everyday service gets a serious upgrade. 
 
In March 2025 in collaboration with Just Eat, La Tasqueria restaurant owner and head chef Javi Estévez prepared exclusive meals in the homes of two lucky competition winners. But prior to rolling out the competition, we enlisted three Spanish influencers to try out our elevated delivery service.  
 
Award-winning writer and broadcaster Mónica Carrillo, chef and author Verónica Gómez and influential activist Sara Gim all saw Javi delivered to their homes in a Lexus NX along with everything required to prepare a delicious feast.
